Different learning needs

I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent students in both mainstream and specialist settings, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and additional learning needs. Through teaching, tutoring, and collaboration with SEN professionals, I have developed a strong understanding of how to adapt learning to suit each individual. My approach is structured, responsive, and tailored—using clear routines, step-by-step guidance, and visual support to reduce cognitive overload and build confidence. I work closely with SEN teams to embed effective strategies and ensure consistency, while also prioritising students’ emotional wellbeing. Ultimately, I aim to create a supportive, engaging environment where every learner feels understood and empowered to succeed.

Customer reviews

"Hira has been a wonderful support for my daughter during a difficult phase with her A Level English Literature. She is patient, uses the right resources, and explains concepts clearly. She helped my daughter improve through close reading of texts, analysis of themes, characters, and literary devices, and by guiding her on how to structure her written responses using textual evidence. Most importantly, she helped her regain confidence and interest in the subject. We've seen a clear improvement in both attitude towards the subject and academic performance. Highly recommended."

Arshi, Parent of Celmira, Year 13 (UAE)

"We had a great experience with you Hira tutoring our daughter during her Early Years. Your patient and structured approach built a strong foundation and boosted our daughter's confidence. Thanks to your support, she successfully progressed to Year 1. I will be signing up my next daughter with you. "

"I want to say a massive thank you to you for your help Hira. I managed to secure an A* across both sections of my English exams and I got joint highest marks amongst the whole cohort."

Stephanie, A Level English Student (UK)

"Not only is she one of the best tutors, but Hira really puts time and dedication into helping her students, and for me her tutoring really paid off. She doesn’t make you feel silly for getting something wrong and she actually helps you to work on the areas that you are struggling with. I have built such a nice connection with Hira, that I don’t see getting tutored as a punishment anymore, but instead I really look forward to our English and Psychology lessons."

Aroosha, GCSE English & Psychology Student (UK)

"Hira has been such a positive rolemodel and tutor for both my daughters. She has helped my eldest with her IB English and with her excellent knowledge as an examiner, we are nothing but thankful. My daughter disliked English but has now decided to take it for further study thanks to Hira. My younger daughter looks forward to her lessons and Hira helped a lot with her Year 8 English assessment. I recommend her and also for her experience. Thank you for helping."

" Hira was a heaven sent, she helped my daughter with phonics, writing and also helped her being more confident. Hira is always helpful and always willing to help even after my daughter started school. She is the first person I think of it I need any advice regarding my daughter and her education. I recommend her to all."
